Stourhead Gardens 31 05 10

Just had a lovely day at Stourhead Gardens near Frome. Rob, me Luke and Cameron walked around the lake a couple of times and then we went for a bit of lunch at the Spread Eagle pub. Cameron had a really good time hill climbing. Luke put him at the bottom of the hill and Cameron would crawl up it. It was really funny to see him get to the top and then be taken all the way back down to the bottom and have to start all over again.

He fell asleep as soon as he was put in his pram and stayed that way until he got home. I will put on a few pictures and a piece of video so please have a look at them.

The day of Emma and Gavins wedding 28 05 10

What a fantastic day we all had. The weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cold it was just right. The venue; from the front gates of the the property to the spectacular gardens and lake is amazing. (as soon as I have photos I will upload them).

Emma is my cousin Stevens daughter. She looked beautiful, glowing and extremely happy. Her mum Gill who passed away 3 years ago would have been very proud of her. Steven has to do this all again in a few months time for daughter number 2 Marie. Good luck with that Steven, if you were not grey haired already................

Some sensational outfits, fascinaters, hats, cravats and tails with the guests making every effort to look good for the bride and groom. The photographer had his work cut out trying to drag the guests into a heart shape framing the bride and groom who stood in the middle, then running up to an overlooking balcony to take the picture. I hope it worked.

The night went too quickly and before we knew it the meal was over, the cake cut and all the drink well and truly drunk. Ask my sister Debbie cause see drank most of it (ha ha) only joking Debbie. We stayed the night and a smashing hotel called the Ely on the A30 (impressed) I would stay there again, and I don't say that too often.

On the way back today we picked up Cameron our grandson for the rest of the long weekend. I hope the weather picks up.

All for now folks xx

Oliver

Rob's birthday on the 8th May and we celebrated it by going to London to see a show. We picked Oliver (well I picked Oliver). This turned out to be a good choice. It was one of the best shows I have been to and Rob thinks so too.
Rob drove to London and we parked in the Park Lane car park. We were staying in the Victory Club a stones throw from Marble Arch. We were booked in for a pre show meal at 5:30. Very nice but very small portions; I could of eaten it twice. The waiter said that we could use this table in the bread; so we ordered a cheese board and some port just in case we were a bit peckish (scoffed the lot).
The show was sooooooo good. All the actors were excellent especially Fagan (Griff Reece-Jones). I was hoping that the original Nancy would still be there. The new one was fantastic, she didn't need a microphone; amazing. I think I would go back and watch it all over again.
